Fingers Crossed for a CAT Award

All the members of SOACT have their fingers crossed that one of our illustrious members, or lets hope more than one, receive a CAT Award for their efforts in three of SOACT's 2006 productions.

The CAT Awards, Canberra Area Theatre Awards, which has been going since 1995, doesn't just award actors. In 2003 SOACT received two awards, both for it's Dimboola production, Peter Buckley for best new talent, and for Best Costume Design - a real feather in the cap (pardon the pun) for SOACT's costume department.

"SOACT has produced some high quality productions this year (2006) and the audience response has been fantastic" President Jim Nicholls says, "and it would be a real bonus to pick up an award or two."

SOACT, Wagga Wagga's premier amateur theatre company, is a theatrically based group of like minded local amateurs who work together to produce shows of a professional standard each year.
SOACT provides many opportunities for it's members to become involved in all aspects of theatre, and of course, quality entertainment for the Wagga community.
